Is anyone feeling a bit of an "energetic hang-over?"

There is little doubt that we have undergone a potent expansion process in the last few days.

No matter which candidate(s) you may have supported in this last US election (and this also pertains to many in other parts of the world who were "voting" with their consciousness and focus) it is likely that you felt a powerful "shift" in ways which are perhaps difficult to quantify. But the initial impact is unmistakable.

However, after most powerful expansion phases there is a natural period of contraction and integration, and this one is no different.

Are you feeling it yet?
 
Do you feel some unease about what might come next? Are you wondering what this political shift will mean for you, how it will affect you personally?
 
All of this will actually be determined by you, and where you now place your focus.

Will you sit back and wait to see how the outer landscape shifts and then perhaps choose to act? Or will you make the most of this opportunity to go deeper into your own Self, and see what hidden strength, determination, hope and compassion awaits you there?

When a significant infusion of Source energy occurs, after an initial "emotional high," the next effect is often an awareness of patterns of limitation which have become newly spotlighted. Some of us have grown accustomed to projecting that "darkness" outside of ourselves, for it seems safer to recognize it in the outer world.

We have another choice, however, which is to actively choose to participate with our Soul and say, "YES, I want to focus this Light within myself, to discover that which has been hidden or in shadow, and bring these parts into the light of wholeness and integration."Continue reading...

I hope that you are finding a way to connect to an inner sense of stability during this time of dramatic change in the outer world.

No matter what country you reside in, it is likely that you are feeling the mounting pressure from the volatile economic and political situation in the U.S.  Remember that powerful transformation often requires a dismantling of the "old" before the new can take root and flourish. This applies to cultures and nations as well as individuals.

I'd like to offer one gentle reminder for this particular time: 

When you find yourself being stimulated into a "fear response" triggered by something you read or hear, it can be very useful to just "shift your perspective upwards" a few notches.
 
Ask your guidance to assist you with whatever energetic adjustment is needed for you in the moment. This does not necessarily cause the fear to go away, but it may bring you a clearer perspective from which to view yourself in relation to the whole.

After you have regained your centre, it may be valuable to examine the area in which your fear has been stimulated, as we are all having parts of our "shadow" surfacing now to be integrated into wholeness. Or you may find that the fear has been dissolved by this simple action.

Also, bringing yourself back to the present moment, again and again, is quite useful at this time.
